Wow. It's just unreal how that team has quit on him.

I saw that go across the bottom of the screen on ESPN and I thought it was a misprint.

I'm watching the game..........it's no misprint.

Baylor got hot from downtown right before half.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

As someone said on the radio earlier today, if MU loses to "Hey, we won one game this year, damnit!" Baylor, this will be the "Ready" in, "Ready ... Aim ... FIRE!"

Holy cow. Losing to Baylor by 22?

Where is this game at? Columbia? Waco?

I'd like to add that as a die hard KU fan, I'll be a little disappointed in MU if they fire Captain Hair Gel.

Geesh Quin, if you want gone this bad, just quit! I'll bet he's trying to get canned so MU will buy out his contract.

You know, after 30 years of football woes and the post-Norm years of more woes, I'm ready not just for a new BB Coach, I'm ready to see a new AD that will get serious with the sports programs.

Absolutely. Alden has received as much of a free pass as has Snyder. Time to be accountable.

Baylor up 28, just over 3:00 to go.

I was originally a bit irritated when ESPN2 decided to not show the game and show a re-run of CMI (heh, the same show they ran from 6:30-7:00) then "How To Play Poker". I was considering trying to find an addy and voice my displeasure to them for the programming change. Now I am feeling like I should find an email addy and thank them.

Yep. Best QB we've ever had and he was wasted on a coach that couldn't figure out how to run the team. Man that's irritating.

You said it. For the records Brad Smith DID break, just think of what he could have done with a coach that had a clue as to how to exploit ALL of his potential. A shame.

I will keep sticking to the thought that Brad could be a very good NFL QB, given the right coaches and situation.

Say, we're within 26 now with 23 seconds to go. If we could score just over a point a second, we could pull it out!!!

In all seriousness, I can't EVER remember MU's basketball program this low in the standings - and we just got beat by the worst team in the Big 12 - well, they WERE the worst team, until tonight.

To be fair, Baylor has gotten better. I think.

Their last 4 games...

@ A&M , 2 point loss.
vs K-State, 2 point OT win
@ Nebraska, lead at halftime, ended up losing by double digits, but it was a close game most of the way
vs MU, convincing win.

Scott Drew's a good coach... I'm not surprised to see that team getting better. Although to get totally whipped like they did tonight isn't really acceptable either.

Indeed. Of course, i'm only rationalizing our loss. sigh.

Naw. Everyone knew Baylor would win a couple. They've had some talented newcomers, this year and last.

2005
Henry Dugat PG 4* 6-0 160 - Dayton, TX
Curtis Jerrells PG 3* 6-1 170 - Austin, TX
Muhammad Kone PF 3* 6-10 235 - Ivory Coast, Africa, OU
Kevin Rogers PF 4* 6-8 220 - Dallas, TX
Jari Vanttaja PF 3* 6-10 215 - Oulu, Finland, OU

Add in Aaron Bruce from last year, and that's not a bad squad.

Oh yeah. No doubt. They're the only team in the Big 12 to tell recruits "immediate playing time" and actually mean it.

I think you are all just in denial about the fact that Baylor is a national powerhouse and contendor the the national championship this year.

While most of the blame goes on Pinkel's shoulders, Mizzou needed a QB that could actually throw the ball decently. Brad Smith simply could not do that.

Not sure how you can arrive at saying Smith can't pass. He put up over 8500 yards passing in his career at MU. And who exactly did he have to throw too?

At least you got your once every 5 years win over KU. What are you complaining about?

His release was NOT good.

Well, at least we will have one of the better openings on the job market this year.

Brad Smith was not a good passer, IMO. He was an adequate passer at the D1 level if you considered that his feet made him not have to throw as much. but he threw too many picks that seemed to come at the most critical times so often.

I have nothing but respect for Brad Smith, but I'm more than ready for the Daniel era to begin in earnest.

May I say that Snyder is the worst coach ever to coach any team that I have cheered for. At least Tony Muser had an excuse.
