It turns out, two are actually legally blind, and the replay guy was watching porn under the hood.

Damm that clears up that mystery.

These must be the same guys that call the Chiefs games, cause nobody gets screwed worse than us.

I have a prediction of our record next year. If Bill Levy & his blind f**kers are refreeing our game(s) in 2006, just put a LOSS.

Did these f**king ass***** crew of Levy offishiat our game at NY Giants? When we got so many bull-shit calls... (uneccessary roughness, illegal contacts) until our defense dare-not tackle.

or

was his crew the ones that did us in at that Dallas game. (DJ's phantom holding on 4th down) If it is, this all make sense now. If we have won one of those 2 games, Pittsburgh would not have made it in as the final wildcard.

CONSPIRACY??????????????????

Dude, we have been getting screwed over for years.

And this is more of a bitching about the shitty refs thread, than a repost of the fiasco in the playoffs and SB. We should have 10 threads about this, because it is a freaking joke-what the NFL calls refs!!!

Is this a horse collar tackle? This was on the play right after Locklears phantom hold, and right before Matts pick.. No call..

Something needs to change. When they F#ck up a call, the replay guy still gets it wrong, and it changes the game-that is "rigged" in a way.

The outcome should be determined by the Players, not the Refs. The Refs are altering too many games lately!

If the Chiefs got a few more calls through the year, things could have been different. We had a pretty Kick Ass team last year and were getting hot at the end. Two straight dominating performances at home. We would have been tough to beat in the Playoffs.

The crazy thing is, two plays after the horsecollar (which Shaun injured his foot and may not play in the pro bowl) they penalize Matt 15 yards for tackling the interceptor.. For the love of God man!!

And asterisk boy is Mr. Ironic himself considering his titles were won under bad calls and deliberate breaking of the cap rules.

Actually, that's wrong. There were no salary cap infractions whatsoever. There was an accounting infraction unrelated to the salary cap that the league punished us for. But nothing to do with the cap being violated.

If the Chiefs were playing the Seahawks, we would have been the one screwed over-that is "rigged". The NFL would not want the Chiefs to win.

Its a joke that the NFL has the balls to come out and defend the Refs, Its RIGGED!!!!!

Not too mention a phantom holding call and an out of bounds incomplete call that clearly never occured against Tony G. in the playoffs one of those years.

But hey, facts are never a strong point when it comes to conspiracy theories.

Not to mention all the "Non" calls the Oline got protecting the Golden boy. Your line cheated blatantly on the holds and got a pass. The NFL wanted Elway to get his Ring-just like they want Peyton to get one.

I know. The league just took the draft pick away to make all the other teams feel better about the situation. But there was no cheating at all. Sometimes the league just snatches picks away at their whimsy.

Rigged is too strong, but Biased Bastards is about right. You can't say these Refs are not told who to "call" for. Some games it is just tooo obvious who they are rooting for.

Actually I can.

I don't think a NFL conspiracy exists at all. I think there are morons working on the field and old men who can't make snap decisions as the NFL requires. But I find it hard to believe that people who decide to sell out games for money don't sell their stories after they retire for millions more and bust the system for supposed bias. There is more than one Jose Canseco on this planet.

How do you explain the times the Rat cried to the NFl about our WR's blocking their CB's, and the next time we played them-they called penalties out the ass on us. How about the Colts- only getting maybe one holding call against our D in the Playoff game. Please-you don't think the Refs were told who to "call" for? The Chiefs get screwed year after year.

Someone needs to analyze every game last year and point out all the bad calls verse the right ones for each team-I bet the Chiefs would be at the top of that list, Pats, Donks, Colts at the bottom-getting all the breaks.

Nope, I don't.

Again, if these guys are paid off to call games as they see fit, why hasn't one blown the whistle? Plenty of them have been busted (see selling first class tix), demoted, and released. Why haven't any of these guys come forward looking for a big payoff? Don't you think ESPN or Time Magazine or anyone of 100 other conglomos would pay a fortune for proof?

To further explore your theory, why do teams like the Colts get these supposed breaks? What makes them different from any other 2 sport town like Kansas City, Tampa, or Cincinnati? The reasoning is haphazard at best. A town like Indy would not rake in a fortune for the NFL, hell the fans have finally learned to get loud there after a decade in a dome. If I were the NFL, I would reward a team like Washington or Chicago - long time teams with poor records waiting for the big payoff and having an established fanbase to pay the extra dividends with a huge population to boot. There is no logic to your premise.

Teej is right...it was an accounting error regarding the players salaries that were not counted against the cap causing them to techncially be over the cap during their SB years, but that has NOTHING to do with the salary cap or the fact that the NFL penalized them draft picks for what the NFL called salary cap violations.

I believe that is exactly what happened. And it adds up just fine. The NFL does not want to admit a long time error; therefore, they pull the ostrich in the sand routine. Since the early 90s "deny deny deny" has been the norm.

It is a lot easier to believe than some grand scheme about random teams being picked to be better than other teams being run by dozens of people and never a word being leaked about the scheme.
