Complaints so far:

Events are by time of competition but are not in any order after that (not even alphabetically) meeaning you will have to scroll thru the icons to get the event you want
- No on-screen volume control
- Except when you are playing video the app stays in portrait mode. In fact once I selected an event to watch the program told me to turn my device to landscape mode (IT WAS ALREADY IN LANDSCAPE MODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

From what I've read, you can watch every event live online. Prime time coverage will be tape delayed.

I didn't think the ceremony was bad. After all the fireworks ect of China I think this type of ceremony was the best bet. I thought the industrial revolution part/music was pretty good. That up to the joining of the rings. Thought that was cool personally. James Bond part was pretty good too.
