It was enjoyable, i guess. it wasn't as good as the first one.. the acting was slightly better in the second one but it lacked the story the first one developed :)

Wait I saw a movie on Sci-Fi the other day that had a guy on there that looks just like him. Um it had something to do with a book and it was set back in the old days with a castle. There were skeletons attacking humans and such. Really really goofy.

That Saw stuff is trash.

Then again I guess I'm not really in the snuff film demographic.

Army of Darkness is quality entertainment though. My 8 year old son discovered it over the summer and recently sci-fi has been playing it, he gets so excited when it's on. When he plays an FPS he says "This is my boomstick!"

I was very pleasantly surprised by “Saw.” An innovative approach to the horror genre. And it was surprisingly gore-free, given the subject matter. Much like “Seven” [a far superior film], the really awful stuff was implied and not shoved in your face.

I will rent “Saw II.”

I just don't watch that kind of crap. I can tell from the trailer what it's all about, and it's not my thing man.

Metrolike-

Of course they will be lumped together. They are both in the same genre. Agreed, "Seven" is far superior. I guess I should have said that, huh? In fact, "Seven" is in my DVD collection and "Saw" is not.

Not only are they in the same genre, but "Saw" shares the "implication is better than illustration" approach used to such wonderful effect in "Seven." Of course, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey is a huge improvement over Danny Glover and Cary Elwes.

Still, "Saw" was better than the vast majority of offerings in that particular genre.

xoxo~

Does not expect every action flick to be "Die Hard" or "Raiders of the Lost Ark," either.

I don't think they're even in the same genre. Saw and Saw II are horror flicks, while Seven is a crime drama/psychological crime suspence thriller. In Seven, all you ever see is the aftermath of killings. Besides, Seven is a masterpiece.
