We are making our annual trip out to CO to have some fun in the snow.

Have things pretty much planned out, except for dinner a couple nights in Denver while we are there. Any suggestions of must eat places in the Denver area?

BTW, we've been to casa bonita.... :)

I haven't been to this particular one, but there is a Del Friscos here if you are looking for a nice steakhouse.

Advice on Denver? Drive through that smoggy shithole as fast as weather allows. If you have to stop to take a piss....at least write your name in Urine in the pile high parking lot.

If you find yourself near Conifer...its worth the trip out to the boonies to The Bucksnort Saloon...just for the experience.

I got back monday...snow is deeper than its been since 82. Ski'd copper and Breck, found a nice little ski rental place over Hoover pass on 285 in Fairplay(home of southpark elementary).

It was cold....saturday was like -28....be prepared to dress for it, and its not too bad until you get up high.

have fun.

I flew my Chiefs colors all weekend...alot of Chief fans comments on the mountains....not a lippy donkey in site...a welcome change.

Del Frisco's is okay but, if you want a five star steak house, go to Ruth's Chris Steak House. They'll clean out your wallet but the food is worth it.

EDIT: Of course, my ignorant ass didn't realize there was a Ruth's Chris in KC. Just move along, nothing to see here.

When you going?

Dave Attell is in town March 16-18, plan on catching his show at ComedyWorks.

ESPN Zone, especially if you have kids.

Have kids?

Denver Aquarium is pretty damn cool - although it's expensive. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science rocks.

No Kids?

Try Le Central for dinner - excellent provisional french cuisine in a laid back atmosphere.

Kevin showed everyone where he lived a couple of weeks back. I suggest dropping in for dinner at his place. ROFL

What type of meal are you looking for?

Good "nice" meal - Palomino
Good steak - Sullivan's or ($$$) Morton's
Good small "nice" restaurants - Emma's or Table 6
Good ambiance - Fourth Story
Good cheap Mexican - Benny's
Good Indian - Little India
Good view - Pinnacle Club (on top of downtown skyscraper)
Good moderate-priced restaurant - Cherokee Grill
Good place to take kids - (I have no idea, but none of the above places)

Better yet while he is at work take his bike out of the garage for a tour of the city.

You can definitely come out to my place for Pop-Tarts. Heated or unheated, it's your choice.
