That's sad. What a horrific way to go.

They couldn't even shovel twenty feet down into the mud before it began collapsing into the hole, the school is estimated to be 100 feet down, heavy equipment can't be brought in because the vibrations could trigger renewed landslides.

Even with all that, they're not even sure where to dig for it because all the landmarks are gone and ground penetrating radar can't find it. Bad, bad deal all around.
