I just wanted to brag about something. I won third place in the bock category last weekend in the KC Beirmiesters (http://www.kcbiermeisters.org/) homebrew contest with my dopplebock. This is the second year I've entered this contest and marks a vast improvement over last year where the general consensus of the judges was that my beer tasted like a wet goat. I will wear my bronze medal with pride. :p

P.S. I am flying over to NOLA the 24th-28th. Should be a hoot! Can't wait to see my old friends again.
