Good read. Trent never has and probably never will get the respect and attention outside of KC he deserves.

“I would hope that people in Kansas City in particular never question the integrity of this guy right here, Trent Green, and what he’s done on the field and off the field. Along with his family it speaks volumes about the integrity of Trent Green."

To get respect outside KC, he has to win in play offs.

tommykat. I live in STL area. I know he gets respect here.
Graduate of Vianney HS at Lindberg & I-44.
Lots of south sider support.
His HS coach winning NFL award 2005 helped too.
He even does Midwest bank commercials here.

They are talking about NATIONAL respect, not local/regional.

Media doesn't give him or KC much seems to still be a non-story to them.

His numbers will appear on the big list of NFL stars after he's done.

Needs to win a few playoff games to get the recognition, ala Big Ben.

Green would have 2 or 3 Super Bowl rings if he had Big Ben's defense.

Cool, I stand corrected....Games? That I can't deal with though...lol. Hopefully this year the Chiefs can. ;)
