AnandTech is currently seeking a qualified software developer with experience in C#/VB.NET. The qualified candidate would be required to develop web applications for AnandTech, and maintain the current development environment. The candidate should be able to create and maintain websites in IIS, and should be able to create and modify databases using SQL Server. A solid background in object oriented development is required, along with a thorough understanding of HTML/CSS and JavaScript. Familiarity with Windows 2000/2003 Server is a must. This is a contractor position allowing the candidate flexibility in maintaining other jobs. This position is considered a remote position; the candidate can work on the site from any geographic location.
Candidates in the Raleigh/Durham area are preferred but not required.
