This was requested. I don't condone women's hoops, but I am in Dallas at the game, so it will be my plessure to keep all three of you who care updated in the happenings.

11:18 to tip off.

No thanks. Baylor + K-State + womens basketball all make me puke.

I don't think the girls will fair well. Is it largely a pro-Baylor crowd?

I hate those 4 old people who go to all the womens games but never come to the mens game. The ones in the gray sweatshirts that say K S U, and the old lady with the purple hair.

Yeah. There's a big difference between the men's crowd and women's crowd -- mostly age. But I'm pretty sure the majority of the fans that go to the women's games don't go to the men's.

On a related note, I bet there aren't 10 K-State fans under the age of 50 here.

Just about to post that. Not as good as Sherri Coale, but not bad.

Noone will rival Stacey Johnson-Klein, though. (Former Fresno State coach)

No. I thought KU played pretty well actually. But Patterson has the Hawks' number. The freshmen played really well for KSU.

rofl--I know exactly who you are talking about..they would be on the front row of that stupid ass deb patterson show at bobby t's every thursday... 50 guys and a couple girls just standing there staring at all the clowns listening to deb blab, waiting for 8pm to roll around so we could rush them out of there and play some damn poker.

True. She is a really shitty coach. Great recruiter though, runs a clean program, and sells tickets. I think thats all the administration really wants, which is fine I guess. I just hope she learns to be a better floor coach. If not, Bonnie is going to serve her her lunch in a few years.

I agree with that last statement, although i Thought it would happen this year, especially with Deb having three starting freshmen and Bonnie having three good, starting seniors. Didn't happen had she had three opportunities.

I think K-State's done in this one, too. I'll go ahead and predict Baylor goes on something like a 12 to 15-0 run early in the second half. K-State never recovers, loses by 10+.

Yeah. They need a winner and a recruiter. He fits both molds. Throw a bundle of money at him and get out of his way and let him do his thing. But that's not how this program works, so I don't think it will happen. Weiser already knows who he wants, and I'm certain it's not Huggins.

Then who is it? Lowery or McKay?

I'll be in a meeting. I'll have to check the message boards too.

What encourages me about Huggins is he wants to get back in coaching, and has been given the cold shoulder by a couple programs already.

My fear is Huggins will go to Arizona State. Or Lon Kruger will go to Arizona State, and Huggins will go to UNLV.

DUI, but mostly it was a huge power struggle between him and the president of the university. He still goes to the UC games (did anyone see the UC-Syracuse game today? outstanding.)

He will be coaching somewhere next season, guaranteed.

BU hasn't even had the token second-half run KSU always gives their opponents. When that happens, it will be over.

I've got to see if I can put together something worth reading. Enjoy your evening, Saul, Skip and the rest who participated.
