Yep. K-State is ranked #29, highest they've ever been ranked. I don't know if its all that accurate, because they haven't played anyone that great. Still, 11 straight wins is pretty impressive no matter who you play.

I'll say this, they have very good pitching thus far.

Meanwhile Nebraska is rolling right along. Jumped up in the rankings to #3 this week after sweeping Alabama in their home opener this past weekend who made it to a super regional last spring. So far the Huskers have played a pretty tough schedule so far. Splitting with Rice, Sweeping Minnesota, Arizona, and Notre Dame. :thumb:

Saul what are you doing up here? Shouldn't you be on Shockernet talking about your post season basketball...... ummm........ success?.......well maybe not. Look at it this way you've got the longest non postseason streak in the State. Good luck in beating WSU's record. I think you can do it.

Baseball

WSU - 6
KSU - 2

Basketball

WSU - 72
Hall - 69

Gotta jet, I'm teaching some KU sorority girls the meaning of "The Shocker"

I'm all for letting the two teams prove it on the court. Your ex-coach's Wooly and T. Assbury are the ones who wouldn't do reasonable home and home deals with WSU. Tell you what, tell your new guy to pick up the phone and call Turg if KSU wants an RPI boost and to finally sell out your dead barn. I'd look forward to coming to Manhattan next year. It would be a good time, a WSU victory and I'd get the opportunity to "shock" a Tri-Delt after a night in aggieville.

I'm all for it. As for selling out Bramlage - yea right. You guys came to Manhattan in 03-04. We won, and I remember there were less than 500 Shocker fans.

Good news for Creighton I guess. BTW Creighton has now won 12 in a row and Nebraska won again yesterday to go 12-2 on the year. Creighton and Nebraska meet up in a couple of weeks in Omaha at Rosenblatt. They play 2 games in April and then 2 in May in Lincoln. I'd sure like to be able to get to see a game or two in person.
