Has anyone ever heard of this guy? Or have attemted his Total Money Makeover

I've listened to him on the radio several times. The advice he gives is just common sense: Don't spend more $$$ than you make.

It's not a scam. He believes that credit cards are the devil (seriously). He believes good christians should not use them.

His book is pretty much the same thing. I found it to be a waste of money, but I suppose there are people out there that need that kind of lesson.

Funny...not really ha-ha funny, but I remember his very first show, happened in the spring in the mid-90's. He came on at 4:00, opened with how glad he was to be on the air in this timeslot, blah,blah, and then said, "I'm looking out the window here over the city, and I see two funnel clouds coming into downtown. Gotta go. Seeyabye!!!"
Thus ended his debut-3 minutes into the show.

If it was a good system, then he should have advised you in the foreward to just read the book in the bookstore and not buy it.
