Maybe it's not the peanut butter and jelly dance, but perhaps the jelly dance is appropriate here.

This is a good thing, for now. If we do not draft a good DT prospect, then it's not such a good thing.

Meh....he is ok for depth. Not a bad run stuffer. Still inconsistent.

I still woulda signed T-Rich first over him.

What was the details of the deal? Anybody know?

I agree, a decent run stuffer but now we have a bunch of fat-asses who can't blitz up front. At least Allen will be able to pick up some slack.
We need another one just like him on the other side.

I agree. We need some good quality pass-rushers in here. I have a feeling we will draft one.

Peterson has attended workouts at both NC state, and Penn State. Both places have 2 good quality pass rushers in Manny Lawson, and Tamba Hali. Also, Herm has stated before how a good pass rush can mask a bad secondary.

It tells us something, they possibly have an eye on a passrusher or 2. I'd be very pleased if this team drafted Manny Lawson.

I'll be pleased if we can get either of those guys! I'm really warming up to Wimbley as well, perhaps he's still alive in the 2nd, might be a stretch though.

Unfortunately we needed to do this. I like Browning, but he should retire, IMO. I thought he was a non-factor last year. We still need 2 DTs and 1 DE, IMO.

DEs: Allen, New Guy #1, Hicks, Hall, Wilkerson
DTs: New Guy #2, Sims, Dalton, Siavii (willing to give Krumrie one year to beat and berate him into activity), New Guy #3/Wilkerson.

I personally couldnt agree more. What makes you think that re-signing Dalton is more of a priority than re-signing T-Rich?

No. I meant, I woulda rather kept T-Rich instead of re-signing Dalton. I think he is more of a priority. Re-sign him first over Dalton.

And here I thought we needed 2 more signings for eack signing Carl Peterson does ? We have to have somebody pick up the slack of the FA bust he signs.
