1. Houston Texans...HB Reggie Bush (USC)...Bush is the pick unless the Texans are involved in a Draft day trade.
2. New York Jets...TRADE (from New Orleans) - QB Matt Leinart (USC)...The Jets send their second in '06 and their third and fourth in '07 to the Saints in a Draft Day Trade to move up and take the QB that they covet Matt Leinart...the Jets aren't sure about Pennington's arm and acquired Patrick Ramsey as veteran insurance.
3. Tennessee Titans...Vince Young QB (Texas)...I was told by a reliable source on Friday that the Titans would only consider Young and not Cutler at this pick...the Titans want Leinart but aren't willing to part with their 2nd round pick as part of a package to make the move because they are already without their third round pick which went to the Bills for Henry.
4. New Orleans...TRADE (from New York Jets) -OT D'Brickashaw Ferguson (Virginia)...The Saints are happy that they found a trading partner to move down and still land one of the Prospects they were targeting.
5. Green Bay Packers...DE Mario Williams (No Carolina State)...The Packers have a tough decision..Hawk or Williams.
6. San Francisco 49'ers...TE Vernon Davis (Maryland)...Niners Coach Mike Nolan has stated that he needs to surround his young QB with protection and weapons...the team just signed G Larry Allen and Davis would be a great fit at Tight End.
7. Oakland Raiders...OLB A.J. Hawk (Ohio State)....The general thought is Davis will take Vince Young at this pick but the Raiders just signed Aaron Brooks and gave him starters money and have last years 3rd round pick Andrew Walters waiting in the wings...Hawk would be a huge upgrade for the teams Linebacking core.
8. Buffalo Bills...DT Haloti Ngata (Oregon)...Ngata is the choice... but if LB A.J. Hawk were to slip he'd be the pick.
9. Detroit Lions ...S/CB Michael Huff (Texas)...Huff is just what the doctor ordered for the Lions defense.
10. Arizona Cardinals...QB Jay Cutler (Vanderbilt)...This pick could be dealt since it's the "hot-spot" for Jay Cutler.
11. St. Louis Rams...CB Tye Hill (Clemson)....The Rams fill one of their biggest needs in their secondary.
12. Cleveland Browns...DT Broderick Bunkley (Florida St)...Lb'er A.J. Hawk would be a perfect fit for the Browns... but they have to move up to get him...Bunkley can relieve Ted Washington at NT on passing downs and play in the rotation.
13. Baltimore Ravens...OT Winston Justice (USC)...This pick fills a huge need for the Ravens.
14. Philadelphia Eagles...HB LenDale White (USC)...White is the big chain-moving back that the Eagles have been looking for if the Draft falls this way... but the Eagles could be looking to trade down if White doesn't test out well on April 2nd.
15. Denver Broncos (from Atlanta)...HB Laurence Maroney (Minnesota)...The Broncos are reportedly looking to move up from this spot and are targeting a QB...but a one cut back like Maroney would fit perfectly into the Broncos scheme and replace Mike Anderson who left in Free Agency...Tatum Bell's durability is also a concern.
16. Miami Dolphins...CB Antonio Cromartie (Florida State)...The Dolphins blew up their secondary and now add another piece in their rebuilding process...Cromartie was heavily recruited by Saban while he was at LSU.
17. Minnesota Vikings...OLB Ernie Sims (Florida State)...The team has been looking for a play-maker at the Linebacker position...they may also make a play to move up in this Draft and land a young QB to groom behind Johnson.
18. Dallas Cowboys...OLB Chad Greenway (Iowa)...The Cowboys need a Safety and another Linebacker for their 3-4 scheme.
19. San Diego Chargers...WR Chad Jackson (Florida)...They would like to add a CB in this Draft but they have a shot at the pick of the litter at the Receiver position...the team just lost another Florida receiver Reche Caldwell to the Patriots.
20. Kansas City Chiefs...WR Santonio Holmes (Ohio State)...The Chiefs are elated that Holmes is still on the board as he fills a huge need for the team...Holmes has a pre-draft visit scheduled with the Chiefs.
21. New England Patriots...OLB Manny Lawson (North Carolina St.)...The Pats have found Willie McGinest's replacement.
22. Denver Broncos (from Wash)...DE Mathius Kiwanuka (Boston College)...The Broncos tried to pry John Abraham away from the Jets but Abraham's contract demands were to steep for their liking...Kiwanuka fills a big need for the team.
23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers...OT Marcus McNeil (Auburn)...The team needs help at OT and just lost out on Tom Ashworth this may be a bit high for McNeil so the Bucs might look to move down and out of this pick.
24. Cincinnati Bengals...DT Gabe Watson (Michigan)...Watson is a space-eater and the best DT in the Draft when motivated.
25. New York Giants...OLB DeMeco Ryans (Alabama)...The Giants filled some needs in their secondary in free agency.
26. Chicago Bears...CB Johnathan Joseph (South Carolina)...The Bears are tempted to take TE Leonard Pope with this pick but a CB is a bigger need at this time since Jerry Azumah just retired and Charles Tillman was torched in the Playoffs.
27. Carolina Panthers...HB DeAngelo Williams (Memphis)...A great value pick for the Panthers at this spot...Foster is injury prone...Davis is gone and Shelton has yet to see the field in the regular season.
28. Jacksonville Jaguars...TE Leonard Pope (Georgia)...The Jags have a big need at the LB'er position but are courting Lavar Arrington...Pope would upgrade their TE position and give the team a big red-zone target that can also stretch a Defense.
29. New York Jets (from Denver)...C Nick Mangold (Ohio State)...Mangold will fill the void left by Kevin Mawae's departure in Free Agency...the Jets now have the QB of their future and the Center that will be snapping him the football.
30. Indianapolis Colts...OLB Thomas Howard (UTEP)...The Colts lost OLB Thornton in free agency and were hoping that Howard or Ryans would fall to them.
31. Seattle Seahawks...CB Richard Marshall (Fresno State)..The Seahawks just signed Pats OT Tom Ashworth so the team may have plans to re-shuffle their line with the loss of Hutchinson...Marshall's stock is rising and a need pick for the team.
32. Pittsburgh Steelers...WR Sinorice Moss (Miami-Florida)...If Nick Mangold was on the board he may have been the pick but the team lost Randle-El to the Redskins in Free Agency so they are looking for a return man and a WR to replace him Moss may be short...but he has a "difference maker" label attached to him....DT Rodrique Wright is also a possibility.

personally I'd be pissed if KC selects a WR in the 1st , because the position is so weak this year.
