... what do you call this decade? Is it the new "Turn of the Century?" The New Millenium? D2K (Decade 2000)? The Zeros? The Ones? The Aughts? The Beginning of the End?

Just curious, as I've never known what to comfortably call it.

I've most commonly heard it called the aughts.

Could be. I've never heard it referred to as the "Aughts". Never really heard any name consistently now that I think about it, other than "This decade."

Between 9/11, The Iraq War, and Hurricane Katrina it qualifies as the worst decade without introducing politics.

Add in the disaster that is the Bush Administration, and you have the recipe for the worst decade ever. :p
