I moved to Jackson county less than 2 years ago, and the Chiefs were a big influence on the move. Keep the teams here!!

I wish I lived in Jackson County so I could vote YES. KC Star said a person would probably pay in extra $20.50-$23 a year in taxes. Opposing people say $40 a year. So what none of that amount is anything to worry about.$1.50 to $3 extra a month is junk change to almost everyone in Jackson County.

I'm in Wichita, but if I lived in Jackson CO, I'd vote HELL YEAH!! My SIL was living in Jackson Co until 6 months ago or so(moved to Overland Park). I'm trying to find out if she is still registered to vote up there. I'm willing to bribe her with gas$ to drive up and vote YES!!

edit: She just told me it's a no-go, can't vote in Jackson Co anymore, but would have voted YES! :cuss:

I voted YES this morning on my way to work. The Chiefs and Royals need to stay where they are and this will happen with the improvements. We could also get a rolling roof out of the deal which would bring HUGE venues to our fair city. Even though I'll never attend the Superbowl, the All-Star game, or the Final Four but I understand the national exposure and the economic impact they will have on my city. Not to mention I'm tired of playing little brother to St. Louis!!!

I voted YES. It is the best plan I have seen in the last few years and it will keep the teams. No one wants to have to live with me if the Chiefs leave town. :shake:

There's two different issues, so I'd be interested in knowing who voted for what exactly...

I don't live there but if I did I would have voted yes. If this doesn't pass I think people will be sorry. I would hate like hell to see the Chiefs in L.A and I am 2 hours down the road from there.

I went to vote for it but for some reason they had nothing about no stupid stadiums up here in St. Joe

Just to make sure everyone knows, if you live in Jackson County and vote no, you get banned from Chiefsplanet.

What I am interested in knowing is how many people that were going to vote no didn't vote at all because they thought the tax would fail in a landslide. I've come across three people here at work that said they were going to vote no, but didn't vote at all because they were sure it wasn't going to pass.

they have a right to be stupid. We have a right to see Chief games for at least another 25 years at Arrowhead. Fair trade if you ask me. Go
