Well I hope this hasnt been posted, but with the news of the chiefs schedule for this upcoming season, what do you think our overal record will be?

9/24 BYE
10/1 S.F. NOON
10/8 @ AZ 3:05
10/15 @ Steelers
10/22 Seattle
10/29 S.D.
11/5 @ ST LOUIS

I was really hoping we would have a game on 9/24...My first full day of being 21 and I would've been able to buy beer on Sunday since I'll be living in Oklahoma.

But I could see us going 10-6, 11-5 maybe even 12-4. But my opinion will definately change come August.

No way, 6-10 at best. Our defense is still leaky, our offense is going to be 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Marty ball has returned.

As of right now, I'd have to say 9-7. The defense is still a work in progress. And if Al Saunders was still our OC, I'd predict 10-6 or 11-5. I also predict that we will sweep the Raiders for the 4th year in a row. ROFL

Based on what we have done so far in the FA's........ before any TC and injuries..... T

9/10 Bengals NOON ... (W) (W)Palmer will not be healthy, early win at home

9/17 @ Denver 3:15 ... (L) usual loss in Pile High Stables

9/24 BYE .... a safe week, I think.

10/1 S.F. NOON ... (W) why not, rather how could we lose ?

10/8 @ AZ 3:05 ... (W)should be a win, but tougher than one thinks.

10/15 @ Steelers ... (L)loss, hard to win there.

10/22 Seattle .....(W) should win at home, but ya never know.

10/29 S.D......(W) Hello Marty, thanks for coming to play

11/5 @ ST LOUIS (W) .... Do the Rams fear anybody under a new coach , or even the old one ?

11/12 @ MIAMI (L) ...south Florida, yeah right .....

11/19 RAIDERS (W) ...Annual bitch slap

11/23 DENVER (W) Can you make turkey soup out of a jackass ?

12/3 @ Cleavland noon (W) .... should be a win, but year 2 in Cleveland could be difficult.

12/10 Baltimore (W) ... They can't block me, no way, ther is just no way, right Ray Ray.

12/17 @S.D 3 (L) Marty can be a bitch at home.

12/23 @ OAKLAND (W) rd 2 of the annual bitch slap

1/1 JAX NOON (W) geared up for the playoffs at home

Now this makes it a 12-4 season, I think our D can find a way to screw it up.

We have some very rough stretches and how we fair in those will be most telling. I am looking at this one most:

10/15 @ Steelers
10/22 Seattle
10/29 S.D.
11/5 @ ST LOUIS
11/12 @ MIAMI

all three of the road games will be tough and its not a lock we will win the home games.

I'm surprised it hasn't been stated that we have no Monday night game and two of our "national" games are on NFL network, which isn't exactly in every household.

Last year I had us going 10-6 but making the playoffs, blah!

I will go ahead and say 11-5 with KC losing the following games:

AT Denver
AT Pittsburgh
AT Miami
AT Clevelnad (for some reason I don't like this one)
AT San Diego

We will win all home games this year, yahoo!

We get Cincinnati early and at home the leans toward a win. We make use of the fact that we play Denver early at their place. It will all depend upon how well Denver's offense is playing, I say this is a win. We come back from break to win at home over SF and away at Phoenix. Pittsburg is a loss. As well as Seattle. SD is a win and so is St. Louis. Miami will be looking for revenge from last year this is a toss up but I think we lose. The Raiders and turkey day Denver game are wins. Cleveland Baltimore are wins but we lose at SD win at oakland and a lost at Jax. (0-2 in Florida, especially if we aren't playing for anything)
11-5

KC is going to win the Denver home opener in week 2? It's way too early to be drinking.

It can be argued that I'm a homer, and I'm not even suffering from those dellusions.

When was the last time we won in Denver? 2000, the last year of the old stadium?

It won't be easy, but the pressure will be entirely on you guys. No Anderson. No Price. The Chief's with a defensive minded HC, and a new blitz-happy and/or pressure-heavy Defensive front (Sims returns; draft Hali).....and Plummer will be doing his playoff swoon.

Maybe we can get another left-handed pick from him. :p

Ha! You're right... Edwards has no pressure in his 2nd game with his new team, on the road for the first divisional game against a team the fans hate. No pressure at all... true, most likely expect a loss since AFCW teams rarely sweep within the division. However, it all rides on what happens with Cincy.

Let's say something shocking happens and KC flounders in week 1... you better believe that Herm is all of a sudden facing the first "must win" of his KC tenure.

If Dever doesn't win their home opener against a division rival, their season will be a collosal failure.
