That sucks. Seems we always get the shaft. Arrowhead is a great host for MNF.

Yeah, too bad we don't have a team to play in the stadium.

Thank God we get to see Favre take on Holmgren, yet again.

Craptacular.

Craptacular.Yea, he faces Reid too. Wasn't Reid one of his coaches in GB?

Even the lambs got a home MNF game.....

Does anyone really want to hear Tony Kornholer comment on the Chiefs anyway? Thank God we aren't on MNF.

Yup. QB coach.

ESPN is zeroed in on what the NFL nation wants to see. A 4-12 team going to face a 6-10 team. Dipshits.

Not my concern.

I'd be attending the game. I'm a "real fan."

Not being on MNF is not going to be as big a deal as before with the Thursday & Saturday night games on NFL Network and the new TO BE DETERMINED flexability the NFL will have in the latter part of the season for the Sunday night games.

As of right now KC has two primetime games,a Thursday and Saturday and if they can get in the hunt I can see a game getting moved to the Sunday night slot as well.

That’s why you turn down the TV and turn up the radio. Mitch and Lenny make for better listening, even though Lenny gets on my nerves also.

Of the six possible "flex" games, 12/31 v JAX looks like the only possibilitiy for a home game. Can't see OAK or BALT being strong enough to move those games.

I could see the 11/12 game @ MIA or the 12/17 game @ SD as strong possibilities.

ESPN is doing all their "talk/debate shows" from MNF sites on the day of that game. So basically KC will NEVER host another MNF games thanks to the following who probably don't want to step foot in KC IMO:

Mike Greenberg
Mike Golic
Woody Paige
Skip Bayless
Tony Kornheisher
Michael Wilbon

Unbelievable that we were on Prime Time a couple of times last year (None at home) coming off a 7-9 season. And this year we're not at least getting to host one coming off 10-6. But we do get to go to back-to-back - finisher-LAST PLACE - Oakland who gets to host 2. Go figure. :shake:

I don't think the rolling roof will ever pass now. The only Superbowl this town needs is the one your team plays in. **** the NFL!

7 Sunday night games are open. So the Chiefs may end up with one or more.

Yeah, I know. I was just hoping for one out right non flex prime time game at ARROWHEAD. The atmosphee is just too great to be left out. And other teams have done much less and have appeared and are appearing this season for that matter.

I prefer to watch the games on Sunday, so this works for me. Regardless of the network, I still think MNF sucks. Starts too late, with too much bullshit and not enough football.

This just in: MNF is dead. Sunday Night Football is the new MNF.

Absolutely the way I view it too. The ESPN crew sucks old balls. Not to mention the flex scheduling is going to make the NBC broadcasts that much better.

I'll second that, Sunday afternoons (after one has attended the church of his or her choice of course) were created by God so that you could relax, drink a beer and watch football (it's in the Bible look it up)

I'm sorry but if you were sleeping when this was discussed I can't help you out.

But trust me it's in there, kid you I would not

(it's in the same section as the refrernce to baseball, you know the part that talks about the big inning).
