If Denver doesn't go defense with at least 1 of the 3 picks in the first two rounds, I think that's a mistake.

I believe KC will trade down to attain an extra pick, and then select Tamba Hali or even Lawson

Maybe we could swap the Jets. #20 and #54 for #29 and #35?

The point value is about equal...

The Colledge pick is flat out stupid.

Unless someone slips, I'm starting to not like being at #15. The positioning, with regards to their needs, just isn't very good. Seems like there's a good chance most of the guys they want will still be there at #22. Look at this mock, 3 corners go after Denver's pick and depending on what teams do with Wimbley there's an OLB that they don't need. 6 picks inbetween their 2 1sts, and 4 guys wouldn't even be considered by the Broncos.

I'm all for that!! Hali and Watson!

But...what would NYJ be moving up for, a DE? RB perhaps?

No damn clue. Just was looking for a trade down scenario, and that was the only one I could find.

If there is no RB selected up through 19, I could see the Jets perhaps wanting to jump in front of the Pats, to have their pick of RBs. I would like the move, regardless of who's on the board @20, realistically(meaning if SuperMario is there, obviously moving down is stupid, but point being, he won't be on the board that late, realistically). There would still be solid choices at DE, DT, CB or S @29, AND we move up into the top 5 of the 2nd, giving us two solid choices at BAA of need positions.

edit: Wow, I just did it again. Just said 'if no RB is taken throught 19'. I'm so convinced that Houston will take Bush #1, that I think mentally, he just doesn't exist on the board for me anymore. I've done this a couple other times as well. :hmmm:

I could see the Jets looking at Laurence Maroney.

He's similiar, in size, to Curtis Martin, and might be a little faster.

Very nice, indeed. That's a draft I could live with. :hmmm:

I'm sure Carl will be lucky to hit on one of the three.....he'll draft a new gadget Fullback-Halfback and new CB-S tweener. :cuss:

Damn it, Carl!!! :cuss:

I bet the Jets fans would just love that since we pulled their HC right out from under them. I'd love it if that happened since I don't see much difference in the players after about #15 through the rest of the 1st round. We should be able to get Thomas Howard with one of those picks and also a DE who might end nothing more then a pass rush specialist wouldn't be a terrible pick at those picks. Speed, speed and more speed is what we need if we're gonna run the Cover 2.

Not a bad DL if the Saints pick Williams

DE Mario Williams
DT Brian Young
DT Charles Grant
DE- Will Smith
