I see the bad moon arising.

I see trouble on the way.

I see earthquakes and lightnin'.

I see bad times today.

I don't dislike it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to hear some.

Shhh! I'm channeling here....

Don't go around tonight,

Well, it's bound to take your life,

There's a bad moon on the rise.

I hear hurricanes ablowing.

I know the end is coming soon.

I fear rivers over flowing.

I hear the voice of rage and ruin.

I like 'em, but I don't own any...except maybe on a bootleg of the Bill Graham memorial, I think they played...
How many have any CCR in their collection?

I've got their greatest hits album, but nothing else. I like buying greatest hits albums.

Good band in their time.

Despite the issues later with Tom Fogerty and all involved.

My wife does not like them. She doesn't hate them but changes the dial on the radio to find something better anytime they came on.

Thought it was a nightmare,
Lord, it's all so true,
They told me, "Don't go walkin' slow.
The devil's on the loose."

Better run through the jungle,

The earliest remembrance of someone 'chilling out' to music [you know, getting your most comfortable chair, setting yourself right between the speakers in the sweet spot, and concentrating on nothing but the music], was my dad listening to 'Keep on Chooglin' from the Live in Europe Album.

my personal favorite?

Someone told me long ago . . . there’s a calm before the storm,

I KNOW!!!

it’s been comin’ for some time.

Close second?

Some folks are born made to wave the flag,
ooh, they're red, white and blue.
And when the band plays "Hail To The Chief",
oh, they point the cannon at you, Lord,

My wife likes to complain if I leave the CD in too long.

Always been rather neutral on CCR. It's OK...but when their tunes pop on the radio..I usually reach for the station buttons. Hear 'em all at least 1000 times.

But then again....I'm practicing to be the Grumpy Old Man Down the Street.
