SAN DIEGO -- Southern California offensive tackle Winston Justice, a likely first-round pick in this month's NFL draft, is scheduled to visit the San Diego Chargers on Thursday.

Justice is passing up his final year of eligibility to go pro. He started every game after missing the 2004 season when he was suspended from school for flashing a pellet gun at a fellow student.

Justice played right tackle at USC, protecting the blind side of quarterback Matt Leinart, who is left-handed.

Chargers left tackle Roman Oben missed the last eight games of 2005 with a foot injury that required surgery. He isn't expected to be ready until June.
The Chargers will pick 19th, and most mock drafts have Justice going higher than that.

Eric Winston of Miami, who could also go in the first round, visited the Chargers earlier this week, general manager A.J. Smith said.

While the Chargers could use another offensive tackle, the team is believed to be leaning toward taking a wide receiver with its first pick.

Another rumor also has the Chargers moving Donnie Edwards to Minnesota for one of their 2nd round picks, then using 1 of the 2nd round picks to move up and take Justice.

I wonder if Marty will move Justice to wide receiver.

A 2nd for D. Edwards? Is that even remotely possible?

If you've seen what the Vikings are trying to pass off as LB's, it's entirely possible.

If the Vikings give up a 2nd pick for Donnie ****ing Edwards, then the question is, what idiot are they trying to pass off as a GM?
