Right.
It is a Nissan. early 80s. rust around wheel well is a tell tell sign of those models.

But it's still running, the front end is ??? camero???

Donate the truck to the loser who wins the Greatest Planeteer of All-Time Contest. It would be a fitting reward.

Excellent use of Bondo. I really like how the hood is too short to cover the Camero front end. The only thing it is missing is a hot chick in a bikini laying on the hood. :)

If I win I'll take it out into the desert and videotape me running it into shit til it dies.

It's already been run to shit- all you have to do is wait for the buzzards to start circling overhead.

I was thinking Nissan, but it isn't early 80s. The 80-85 models had a seem at the bed, also the 86 1/2's on had the flare over the wheels like this one has (hardbody design). My guess is late 80s nissan.

Your right, I had a Datsun 81 KingCab w 2.2L Hemi 4cyl
(Jap Zcar engine) body design is different.

It had major rust seams, bed, floor boards when I got rid of it in 92. Engine ran like a top though.

This is the newer 'hardbody' design. 85 or later. 2.4 L 4 Cyl.

but to bastardize with a Camero? frontend is just wrong.

I used to have a 1980 with holes in the bed seams I could lose firewood through. Dad works for Nissan and when he saw those 86 1/2 hardbody trucks he had to have one. It was the first new vehichle he ever bought.
