If Allard Baird runs Joe Mays out on the mound one more time he should be lynched. The guy should never be on the mound for us again.

Wow Frank Thomas should hang it up.

getting smoked by Gobble should be mandatory automatic retirement.Thomas doesn't look like he can go down and get the low and outside pitches. He either hits a homerun or he pops up. He can't run for crap because of his "hurts".

Oh well, we only will have to pay him 500k if he doesn't post the numbers.

Calcountry
04-28-2006, 07:44 PM

Does a really good job considering the situation of your franchise. The Royals are my #2 team, so, it really is kind of bittersweet how we have been beating up on you all these past few years.

Denny Matthews is the main radio guy. Ryan Lefevre is his sidekick.

They tell good stories when we are hopelessly out of games.

So, they have A LOT of stories...

Dukeshitter blew one just like this about a week ago in Streets' absence vs, Detroit, so yes, we are fully capable of phugging it up. There is a bit of a difference between Det. and KC though, so I am hopefull for help in this one. ;)

You get that attitude when your team is the worst team in 1 run games over a 5 year stretch in ML history.
