They might want to trade up into the 20's and grab Lendale White. Think they'd be looking a the 20th spot? Would the Chiefs give up the 20th pick for the Texans 2nd and 3rd, or would the Chiefs ask for Texans #1 in 07 and a 3rd this year. Would you make the trade

Trade it to them for David Carr! :D

If Manny and Hill are gone, I say either option works for me; we could still get Hali in the 2nd either way.

I'd Carr and their 3rd for our 20. Let Carr do a year or two of cleanup under Trent and then give him a real chance to take the stirring wheel for good.

we can't afford to trade for next year picks, we are an old, old, old football team.

Intriguing possibilities here. The wheeler dealer in me loves to be a major part of the Chiefs draft room tomorrow.

Didn't they just re-sign Carr to a long term deal? I doubt they'd be ready to deal him this soon after signing him.

Remember, the Texans have the first pick in the second. If Manny and Hill are gone, we can still get the DE we want in Hali in the second and pick up an extra pick. Sounds pretty damn good to me.

"Loves"? As in you are looking forward to being there tomorrow?

Or "would love" as in wishing you could be there (not like there are many, many others here with the same desire!)?

And yes, the Carr comment was tongue in cheek. Thus the ":D"

Let them make a trade with San Diego.

Dropping back and drafting White would be idiotic. I don't see how he has much more upside than Davis, honestly.

ESPN says, "Mario Williams signed a six-year, $54 million deal with the Texans."

Why would they move down, how could they move down, if he's already signed the contract? And above all, why move down to someone who may or may not even be better than the RB they already have, as you say?
