View Full Version : I didn't realize that Kennison was picked ahead of Harrison and Owens

Interesting. There were alot of good to great WR's out of the '96 draft.

Owens was the 11th WR taken in that year (3rd round, 89th overall).

There were others picked between these but these players were the best selected that year. This is like the '83 class of QB's for the WR position.

T. Glenn
E. Kennison
M. Harrison
E. Moulds
A. Toomer
M. Muhammad
B. Engram
T. Owens
J. Horn (5th round, what a mistake to trade him)

we didn't trade him. We didn't throw the ball his way enough and he signed with NO.

I always wondered why TO was picked so low?? I guess he went to a small school. Kennison had a great rookie year with the Rams, but then they got frusterated with him after that because of his bad hands and his fumbling problem. Imagine that??? hahah......

I do admire Kennison's ability to turn himself and his career around since hes been in KC.
