I spoke to Marcus and he is unbelievably happy, he said the KC stayed on the phone with him through 3 picks to tie up his phone line. I assured him that if the other 3 teams wanted him, they wouldn't have cared about his phone being tied up. He said he spoke to Herm Edwards personally and that is unusal because in the latter rounds, the draftee will speak to the secretary or something but not the GM, head coach or anyone else. I told him that he is blessed to have been drafted in a respectable position after only starting for one year.
