Thanks for providing the information to us living outside the KC area. You'll have to ignore several of the people here because nobody's allowed to talk about topics related to the NFL on Chiefsplanet anymore.

The Chiefs still had 9.1 million in cap space last I checked. There's no freakin reason to go into the season standing pat on where we are on defense. Yes, he want's paid, but the Chiefs have plenty of cap room to sign him to a one or two year deal.

I'd like to see at least some of that 9.1 million go towards adding another veteran WR. I don't think there is any quality veteran available now, but there are always trade possibilities, etc. I feel like I am the only person concerned about the fact our WR depth includes the likes of Crapshit Thorpe, Samie Parker, and Jeris McIntyre.

Sign the mother f*cker. At least once in my lifetime, I want to see the Chiefs win a got damn Superbowl. Of course, I don't think Ty Law will automatically deliver us to the promised land. Heck, he probably won't even be on the team when we win a Superbowl, but he's a step in the right direction. Why not take that step if we have a chance. Signing players like him will make other FA's down the road think..."damn, those Chiefs want to win...they're adding lots of talented players...I think I'd have a great shot at a Superbowl if I went there." I'm tired of this preparing for next year crap. The "cap problems" always seem to workthemselves out some way or another. We always replace players who are getting old. DO IT CARL...we're getting a second shot at him. Stuff like this happens for a reason!
