Just curious... I filled up my Honda Accord... $42.00 The largest amount that I have ever paid to fill up tank I believe.

Im sure some of you with SUV's and big trucks are getting hosed... so, what kind of vehicle and how much to completely fill your tank, or both tanks if you drive a truck?

~$35 is the most I've put in my 300M and I generally run it to 1/8 tank.

Depends on how much the price of gas happens to be.

As of last night it was back down to $2.59 here.

$16.00. I only needed a quarter tank and I filled up in Torrington, Wy where it's 2.55 a gal. Here in Scottsbluff it continues to sit at $2.75. I did notice some of the places prices are starting to come down. And no wonder, 3/4 of the town is going over to Wyoming to fill up where gas taxes is much cheaper. :thumb:

Dude, I drive a Freightliner and pull nearly 80,000 lbs with a 500 hp motor. I have 2 x 100 gal fuel tanks and get between 5 and 5.5 mpg. I also drive 640 miles per day. Kinda makes the fuel go pretty quick......

I went to Arco and filled up for $3.25. They are a little cheaper because they don't take credit cards...$48 for the fill.

I have an option to take a train, to another train and turn my 25 minute drive into an hour and 15 minute commute for $5 each way (20 miles.)

When gas hits $15/gal. I'll consider it. I wonder if hedge funds have more to do with the current oil prices than everything else that it is being blamed on. Wouldn't it be ice to when they start shorting oil?

I hate having to run my card through twice. So I usually just deal with the $75 cut off limit and roll on. But if we are on a trip somewhere, then I will just run the freaking card agian.

Nice thing though. For as big as it is, I get around 17.5 a gallon on the Hwy. I actually went 720+ miles on a tank one time and when I filled it up it to 42.5 gallons. So you can say she was sucking fumes? LOL

In December 1998, gas got below 70 cents a gallon in parts of Kansas. Adjusted for inflation, that's probably not too far off from 19 cents/gallong pre-embargo.

I can get from Des Moines to about an hour north of Dallas on one tank. I might be able to make it all the way, but it's not worth chancing it.
