LPT1 port has been disabled

I don't know how to enable on, I went into BIOs but couldn't find a field to lead me through it. Basically I am adding a printer to my cheap POS computer but after some investigating in device manager, etc I get this error:

This device is disabled because the firmware of the device did not give it the required resources. (Code 29)


PLEASE, if you don't have anything nice to say, or feel like being the computer guy from SNL, piss off. If you are kind enough to help, please do.

You probably have some other device that has assumed IRQ 7 on your PC. See if you can free up that IRQ in your device manager and enable LPT1.
