Getting it in early. Royals get a grand slam to take a 4-0 lead in the first inning. Royals then lose 5-4 after issuing 8 consecutive walks in the bottom of the ninth. Buddy Bell sprains hamstring walking back and forth to mound.

Well, it's Cleveland, maybe we'll win.

Cleveland is on a six game losing streak after being swept by the Royals and Tigers. They sit only 4 games back from KC in the loss column with a 4 game series against the Royals starting tonight. Looks liek rain might save both teams from embarassment.

I hate to ruin a quality thread so I can avoid the game and watch "Honey, we're killing the kids" but the Royals may not lose tonight b/c rain is forecasted all night in Cleveland. But, alas, if they don't play tonight they'll just lose 2 another night.
