And as bad as we suck that just makes this victory so much sweeter!

2 hour rain delay Royals hold on to win 7-6.

Yeah, woo... *passes out* Make us wait 2 hours and almost lose the game. Nice to see Elarton actually get a win though, he deserves it.

Yes. I kinda thought it was BS they didn't call the game. The game we had calle dhere when Sanders hit a grand slam could of played after a 2 hour delay. They just had to give the Yanks a shot at beating the Royals.

Maybe this is the motivation we needed in order to turn this season around and only lose 99 games!

I knew they were going to win and I damn near bet on them..then I thought if I did bet on them and they lost, it would be the dumbest thing I had ever done. But something told me they would win. I guess I figured the Yanks would slack off against them

I just got home from seeing the game. The Royals actually looked pretty good. My ass is soaked though. Bus driver had to move the bus and we all had to walk 8 blocks in the monsoon. I got some ok pics though (From the nosebleed section).

Or is it not that bad around the stadium?

They did catch the MFY at a good time, right after a Red Sox series.

And here's a plus: You keep beating the MFY, Brian Cashman will become available for that GM spot.

I was with a group. Plus alot of kids. It actually wasn't too bad around the stadium. Everyone was just trying to get home and get dry.

Now watch the Royals sweep the Yankees this weekend to insure Baird and Bell are safe for another month. :banghead: :cuss: :banghead: :cuss:

Honestly not surprised. I expected it.

I had a feeling. But I refused to watch on the MLB package because I thought I'd jinx it.

After the loss on Thursday, they needed something to go right. One game at a time, though. Let's hope Jeremy throws a good game tonight.

The Yankees are suffering from low self esteem.

It's the beginning of the turnaround.

Now they'll win a game every 8-10 days.

That's the only pic I shrunk that looked right. The rest shrunk to 1 corner no matter what I did. I'll have to play around with it a little more.

That's embarrassing for Yankee fans.

Not really. It happens all the time. Usually, the Yankees lose to a rookie pitcher starting his first game ever in the majors. In fact, if you're a gambler I would highly recommend betting a small fortune in those situations. Yankee fans are used to it.

Jeter, the eighth quickest in MLB history to reach 2000 hits.

I dont think so. If I can i dont know how. I don't have any special photo editing programs. Just some paint thing. I dont know why the Jeter pic worked but the rest don't.

DOUCHE. :shake:Hey, I am praying for help here. The Royals are going to Oakland, and we are in the midst of a 7 game losing streak, the last thing we need is the royals coming into town with a longer one to break up on us.

I was being serious, hardly a douche.

GO ROYALS!I was already predicting the Royals would take 2 out of 3 against us.

That steamroller coming to town is to be feared.

They should be a test for our 3 starting pitcher on the DL plus 2 Relievers on the DL squad to face.
