Some observations concerning KC’s roster.
DT Eddie Freeman and QB James Kilian aren’t listed on the roster. I assume cut.
Depth Chart has Julian Battle as the starting right corner back.
Depth chart does not show Keyaron Fox. Both Battle and Fox were on IR last year.
Seems strange that one would be listed as a starter and the other one does not show on the chart. Kris Griffin is not listed either on the depth chart.
RB Dee Brown now has Dexter McCleon’s #22.
The roster has –
1 punter (1)
1 kicker (1)
2 LS (1) Listed as TEs
3 FB (2)
10 LB (6 to 7)
4 QB (3)
17 OL (9 to 10)
11 CB (4 to 5)
5 TEs – (3) Also 2 STs in Gammon and Johnson
7 RB (3)
15 DLs (8 to 9)
6 S (4)
12 WR (5)
What is the off season roster size limit? I thought 80, but we seem to be past that.
I would think that the WR and maybe CB group will get narrowed down pretty soon.

Don't pay much attention to the depth chart; it wasn't even accurate during all of the season.
I wouldn't read too much into the omissions ("cuts"), either.

If they are in NFLE, they are exempted for the first 2 cuts in training camp, iirc. Or something like that.

Good calls on Kilian/Freeman.
I've grown to not trust the Chiefs' official site, but maybe they're on point more these days. I only go there for video content, tbh.

I find it odd that they are realeasing these two now. Both are minimum salaries (or so I thought). Seems that they would at least be serviceable to practice with/agaist at camp.

Well you can only carry so many guys into camp.......maybe they plan on signing some other people.

I am not certain, but I believe that Wilson is right about the roster limit being 80 for TC.
I know that NFLE players get roster exemptions for the first two or three cuts, but I don't know if that applies to the original 80.
I also don't know if it applies to players that weren't allocated by the team originally.
In the end, I really don't know a damn thing, but I think that since the Chiefs are already over the 80 player limit, that it's very unlikely they'll be signing anyone else to replace these two, and likely still have to release a few more.
