As most of you know now, that I moved to Overland Park, I need some information on which phones would work the best at the OP area, along with the KC area. I have Alltell, and it's pretty good, but it doesn't give me solid service that I need. So sometime soon, I am going to make the change of service.

So what phones/providers would work the best, especially at OP area, say 151st St. and Metcalf area? (Give or take)

I'm looking at Nextel or T-Mobile.

Suggestions?

I hope your not buying any land line service. If you are planning to, just use Skype for all outgoing calls. It's free to call wherever you want in 2006. It's the next wave of communication.

I'm in a Sprint building right now and I've dropped several calls on my Sprint/Nextel phone. When I need to make a call that won't get cut off, dropped, etc. I pull out my secret weapon.

My T-Mobile phone.

I'd love to get rid of my land line. Will Skype let you send faxes?

There's this new thing called email. Maybe you've heard of it.

I've heard of some box that you can buy that will enable you to fax with Skype, not sure if it was just preliminary or actually out on the market yet. I bet if you called up Skype they could think of something to help you out. BTW, Skype costs nothing to join and you don't even have to put in your credit card or nething. Nothing.

I've never had a problem with Sprint in those areas.
