Bizarre 9 Holes

I went out and played 9 earlier this morning. I sprayed the ball all over the place, but my short game was fairly solid. With that being said, it was one of the most bizarre rounds I've ever had. I shot a 42 with a quad....and 11 total putts. This is coming from a person who once hit 7/9 greens and shot a 46. Nevertheless, it was a head-scratcher.

My best ever was a 44. I was even for the first three holes, then double-bogeyed, then bogeyed out. And that was my last highschool match evar, and I'm a senior now.

Did you play college golf? Did you qualify for all 4 state tournaments when you were 17? Have you ever shot in the 60's before? Shove it.

I'm not even good at golf, I used to be a 3-4 handicap when I stopped playing...probably a 7 now. I played at a shitty NAIA school. I'm sure there are A TON of golfers on here better than I. I was simply illustrating the point of how bad putting can ruin rounds, and that good putting can make you score like no tomorrow. The worst instance was when my friend Chase hit all 18 greens, shot 82 with 46 putts. He broke his putter in half on 16 and then two putted the final greens. Figures.
