The Mascot Hall of Fame has announced their finalists for the Class of 2006, and our beloved KC Wolf is one of the chosen few. Now it’s up to Chiefs fans everywhere to make sure KC Wolf makes the cut and is inducted into mascot immortality. Log onto http://www.mascothalloffame.com/poll.cfm and cast your vote for KC Wolf.
The Mascot Hall of Fame will induct the winner on Tuesday, August 15th, 2006 in a celebratory event at Love Field in Philadelphia. The inaugural Hall of Fame Class of 2005 included the Phillie Phanatic, Phoenix Gorilla and the Famous Chicken.
Since his introduction to Chiefs fans as the club’s official mascot in ‘89, KC Wolf has quickly become one of the most entertaining performers in all of sport. A true global traveler in the mascot kingdom, KC Wolf has performed across the United States and has also made trips Mexico, Germany and Japan.
Known for his 85-inch hips and devastating body slams, KC Wolf has been performing his hilarious skits, making an average of 350-400 appearances per year.
KC Wolf is one of six finalists up for the Class of 2006, along with Jazz Bear (Utah Jazz), Clutch the Bear (Houston Rockets), Mariner Moose (Seattle Mariners), Slider (Cleveland Indians) and Wool E. Bull (Durham Bulls).
