Just watched this last night. Anybody else seen it yet? In a nutshell: One hell of a fun flick! I cant remember the last time that Val Kilmer and Robert Downey Jr. were this good? They were both fantastic in this. It was written and directed by Shane Black of Lethal Weapon and Last Boy Scout fame. He definately still has his knack for witty dialouge and unconventional buddy flicks. Check it out. You wont be disappointed.

I bet if I go to Blockbuster they will only have two copies and they will be rented. They will also have 50 copies of the Pink Panther and only two will be rented.

I was shocked by how good Kilmer and Downey were in this thing. They both have amazing talent, but in recent years have seemed to throw it down the drain for one reason or another. Its too bad neither really achived the type of stardom that was expected of them in the late 80's early 90's....

Kilmer has still been making some good movies but they seem to be less high profile. The Salton Sea, Wonderland and Spartan were solid.

Downey was the one that really suprised me in this. He hasn't been in anything worthwhile in a long time.

I beleive the "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" reference is what the Japanese called James Bond as in "Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang"
