Smith makes me want to put my TV on mute. Bayless makes me want to physically jump through the TV and strangle him.

Thats a pretty good impression. How-EVA, you need to practice the voice a little more, you are almost there.

Steven A. Smith manages to annoy me more in three hours than Chris Berman does in two days. That's hard to do.

Quite Frankly it's Stephen A.

*rolls his eyes back in his head and does that retarded dance from his commercial*

I never agree with Skip Bayless. I think he's an attention whore. He's said and written things that I thought were truly rediculous. When I heard Jim Rome praise him, that's all I needed to know about Bayless.

The posts about Smith are right on the mark, but I'll take Bayless.

They both suck, Bayless for his content, and Smith for his delivery.

If it's just between those two, I have to go with Smith. A total one trick pony. He doesnt know dick about any sport other than the NBA. I heard him try to talk football one time and it made some of our resident geniouses (chiefsplanet spelling) look like they actually knew what they were talking about.

Pathetic.

Skip may be total dumbass in need of a visit from DrKickass, but he does have a rudimentary knowledge of more than one pro sport, which makes him passable as some sort of sports columnist.

Smith. It's not even close, IMO.

You actually bring up a good point. Most of these guys start out as writers but once they make the leap to TV they all feel like they have to "amplify" their performance to stand out from the crowd. I call it the Jim Rome effect. Cant anyone on TV just be thmeselves anymore?? Apparantly not. It would actually be a nice refreshing change to see a TV personality who is toned down.

Bayless easily. I can't stand that whiney little prick.

Steven A Smith was the devil's gift for the living. I hate that man. SNL could do a great skit on him by just having someone in a suit with a giant mouth for a head, screaming at the audience.

Skip Bayless is much worse to me. I really dont mind Steven A Smith. He has a bad attitude which I dont mind but I dont watch him that much. Skip Bayless is just a tool.
