I think we're missing the run defense column in this post. You're looking at the pass defense

When they put Carolina 4th in QB and 9th in RB followed with Washington 3rd in recieving the entire thing became a joke. They're playing extreme favorites. Washington, Carolina and Indy basically got favorable rankings all through the rankings.

I guess Brandon Lloyd and Antwan Randle-El are much, much, much better than any of us can imagine.

Carolina was also rated #1 in pass defense and #2 in run defense.

Carolina was also rated #1 in pass defense and #2 in run defense. This is because they drafted DeAngelo.

He is that good.

Behind Hasslebeck and Dell Holme?

I think Green is better than Hasselbeck, but its hard to argue that when one went to the SB, and the other barely missed out on the playoffs.

As far as Delhomme, I am a huge fan of his. He is really clutch, IMO, just does what needs to be done, and then steps it up when he has to.

I think it breaks pretty fair, there are some guys behind him I'd rather have. So it evens out.

Yep. IMO Jake Dellhome is no better than Trent Dilfer. Both of those teams won with defense. (Ravens and Panthers)

Dilfer's damn good too, IMO.

I credit the back seat QB a lot more than most. It's sooo easy for a QB to lose a game, even on an NFL skill level. For Dilfer, Big Ben, or Delhomme as you said to get to the Superhowl without throwing the game away, says A LOT.

But I could be wrong.
