my sig was like 500 px wide and 200 high. That cant be out of regulation.

Its not necesarily about board performance but performance at the user-end.

Say there are 15 posts per page on any given thread. Assuming everyone has a sig, as many do, depending on sig size... it can really hamper the viewing of the forum.

Especially those people who have animated sigs that can go over 1mb in total size. It really doesnt sound like much but it does make a difference.

Not only that but then people have a cluster-f*ck of different images, some not so safe for work, that the board just looks tacky.

Search does work on the BB, BTW, all I had to do was type in sigs and it found it. It would have worked with signatures as well, but I tried the short one first...

If there was a way, without having a complete bitch and whine fest, I would make it so that users didn't have the ability to have the stupid things. But if I tried that there would be a fricken revolt by the guys who seem to think that sig porn is the best porn they can find on the net.

Signatures are out of control. We have very generous guidelines. 200 pixels tall by 650 pixels wide is more than enough screen real estate for you to express you individuality. That dimension includes your graphics AND any witty text you want to share.

I'm not sure why your sig was taken away. It did look like it was within limits, just adding them up right quick. I moved you back to the Regular group from the Sig Abusers group.

However, if you're not careful, I'm gonna move you to the Drama Queen group with Logical.

I believe the one in question is the lady on the far left. Sig height shows at 280 instead of 200.
