Ill be watching this Saturday as well..I look for AA to get the belt back and for Tito to brutally defeat Slamcock err Shamrock. Monson, Mir, Yves,Neer I think should win. If Mir loses, his career is done and prolly end up in the announcing booth somewhere. I look for Tito to call out Sobral and Chuck after he wins demanding a title shot after there fight. IF Tim wins I hope he doesnt humiliate himself again and call out Fedor HAHAHAHAH. "Bring on Fedor! " Tim would piss himself if he seen Fedor walk to the ring! Sorry i got off track, but it always makes me LOL.

Time warner will have it on PPV. I think just about any other provider will have it available.

As for the fights, I am on Andrei's side, but both his fights with sylvia have been less than 1 round. It's just a powderkeg type of fight that could go either way.

I don't know how well Shamrock is going to hold up. I thought Gracie could handle his opponent last time but he got embarrassed.

I'll be watching as well.

I'm really torn between Sylvia/Arlovski. Sylvia is no push over and could end the fight and just about any minute. I'm pulling for Arlovski but my gut is telling me Sylvia to win in a similar fashion as their last match.

But I'm looking forward to Tito stomping a mudhole in Shamrock's as$. I don't see that one getting out of the 1st.

I was always a shamrock fan....he's kind of like the Skiptowne of ufc....if skip had been an original champion of Chiefsplanet....Tito is pretty cocky and had some blatant disrespect for one of shamrocks fighters and then shamrock.

Tito beat his ass like a rented mule last time...and probably will again.

Originally, shamrock was a bad, bad man....I think he's just getting old, and the MMA has kind of passed his skills a little.

back in the day when tito was fighting someone out of the same camp as shamrock he donned a t shirt that said ** is my bitch, ** being the fighter on shamrocks team. shamrock thought that was disrespectful.
shamrock is a lot older than tito also, shamrock will be in the ufc hall of fame

I just don't see how people still think Shamrock is even deserving to be in the UFC. MMA has obviously passed him by. He's a prick, And would get wrecked by B level guys nowadays. He was never the best, Never close. Is it because of his pro wrestling stint?

Tito could fight Ken 100 times, And he's going to win 99 of them. It's not even sporting how bad Tito has beaten Ken two times now.

I guess some people are just delusional.

UFC HISTORY

UFC 1: The Beginning (11/12/93) He defeated his first opponent, kickboxer Pat Smith, very quickly with a heel hook submission. In the second round, Shamrock lost to eventual champion Royce Gracie by choke.

UFC 3: The American Dream (9/09/94) Shamrock returned to go after the title and Gracie. He won his first round bout against Christophe Leininger by submission due to strikes. In the semifinals, Shamrock defeated Felix Mitchell by submission due to a choke. But, he suffered a hand injury and had to bow out of the final bout.

UFC 5: Return Of The Beast (04/07/95) Shamrock got his rematch with Gracie in the first ever super fight. The bout lasted over 35 minutes and was declared a draw. Most agree if there had been judges, Shamrock would have been declared the winner.

UFC 6: Clash Of The Titans (7/14/95) Shamrock faced Dan "The Beast" Severn for the Super Fight Championship. He defeated him by submission with a guillotine choke just 2:14 into the contest. Shamrock was crowned the first UFC Super Fight Champion.

UFC 7: The Brawl In Buffalo (9/8/95) His opponent was a one-time training partner, "The Russian Bear" Oleg Taktarov. The fight was declared a draw after 33 minutes and Shamrock retained the title.

UFC 8: David vs. Goliath (2/16/96) Shamrock successfully defended his Super Fight Championship by defeating Kimo by submission due to knee bar. Shamrock worked quickly again, winning in just over four minutes.

UFC 9: Motor City Madness (5/17/96) Shamrock granted Dan Severn a rematch. After 30 minutes in a slow, mostly stand-up fight, Severn was awarded the decision.

Shamrock returned on December 7, 1996, to compete in another 8-man tournament at Ultimate Ultimate, a year-end showcase of champions in Birmingham, Alabama. Shamrock squared off with Brian Johnston in the first round and controlled the fight, pushing Johnston against the cage and punishing him with strikes. After five minutes, Shamrock forced Johnston to submit due to a choke. Unfortunately, he suffered a broken hand and could not advance to face Tank Abbott in the next round.

After Ultimate Ultimate, Shamrock joined the World Wrestling Federation in February 1997 and astounded many wrestling insiders with his transition from Mixed Martial Arts fighting to wrestling. He was voted 1997's "Rookie of the Year" by World Wrestling Federation Magazine and went on to win the King of the Ring and the Intercontinental Championship before leaving the WWF in 2000 and returning to mixed martial arts fighting in Japan.

Throughout his WWF career, Shamrock continued to train and coach UFC fighters. At UFC 19: Young Guns, January 8, 1999, in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, one of his students, Guy Mezger, fought newcomer Tito Ortiz. After Mezger lost, Shamrock felt Ortiz' post-fight behavior was disrespectful of him and his camp. Shamrock and Ortiz exchanged words and had to be separated. The feud has been boiling ever since.

UFC 40: Vendetta (11/22/02), Shamrock returned to the UFC to settle the score with Tito Ortiz. Shamrock laid it all on the line and threw everything he had at Ortiz. He showed tremendous heart and tenacity. However, after the third round, Shamrock's corner decided he had had enough and threw in the towel. Shamrock walked across the ring and gave Ortiz his respect as he raised his hand and exclaimed him the best fighter in the world.

UFC 48: Payback (6/19/04) Shamrock defeated Kimo Leopoldo by KO (Knee) at 1:26 of the first round.

The Ultimate Fighter Finale (4/9/05) Shamrock lost to Rich Franklin by TKO (Strikes) at 2:44 of the first round.

The last time I saw Ken fight, it was against the big Japanese guy in a Pride match. Ken couldn't knock the guy down, was getting his tail handed to him, and he motions over to the corner to have his guys throw in the the towel.

The last time Ken fought Tito, Ken couldn't knock him down and was getting his tail handed to him. Ken's corner threw in the towel.

This time when Ken was fighting Tito, Tito threw him to the ground and knocked him limp with a hard elbow. The ref stopped the fight 5 or 6 hits prior to Shamrocks corner throwing in the towel.

Screw Ken Shamrock. None of those old guys can compete against the true MMA crowd. I used to like Ken and hate Tito. After all of Ken's towel throwing and watching Ultimate Fighter 3, I now find myself supporting Tito and hating Ken. Shamrock's arms were down, the elbows were flying, and the ref saved Ken a ton on his insurance.

The guy has lost 6 out of his last 8 fights. He lost them all convincingly. I think the most delusional Slamcock fan is Ken himself. He needs to hang it up. Trainning fighters as well.

I could coach fighters better than he did on TUF. It just upsets me that the sport is finally becoming legit, And we still have hangers-on like Ken. He klnows he doesn't have it anymore, the rest of the world knows it as well. I hope I never have to see this guy waste a spot for a more deserving fighter to get thier shot at the big time.

The odds makers weren't. Shamrock should have worked on Jiu-Jitsu long ago instead of wasting unlimited time on ground and pound. He is still in denial. Ultimate Fighter proved that. I agree Shamrock is just too old and not rounded enough at this stage to really compete at this level

Taktarov was mean as hell. Fun to watch too going for those leg submissions. I know he had a few fights in the UFC but I wonder if it will be enough to get him in.
