I disagree. KC Wolf has two issues:

1. The connection between the "Chiefs" and a wolf is pretty flimsy.
2. No one can tell if he's a wolf, a rat, a raccoon, or whatever.

If you get over the ambiguity, the mascot itself is no where near the bottom of the barrel.

Municipal Stadium had a section that was nicknamed the Wolf Pack. Plus a Wolf is more PC than an Indian.

I can't even really think of another pro football team that has a freaking mascot. The Raiders have the unofficial darth vader, the bronco's has the unofficial naked guy in a bareel do they have a guy come out riding a horse? I guess the coolest would be the seahawks who have a real hawk come down. St Louis of course has an empty staduim.
