It seems some have decided to go against the grain and dare NOT have one. Time to fess up.

Not today.

Actually, what most people call a goatee is closer to being a Van Dyke.

Bob Dole actually has a goat at the moment (which means that there is no stache).

Goatees are not attractive on fat men.

Or at least this fat man...

50% of the hairs on my chin grow in clear or very light blonde, so I look like Yoda when I try and pull that crap off.

I tend to go with the scruffy 3 days unshaven look than any particular trim job. I look like a retard with a goatee anyway.

Occasionally the mood will strike me and I'll just grow a full on beard for about a month until I get tired of it.

Of course. Well, if you discount the rest of the hair on my face it is a goat. Most people would just call it a beard. :D

I recently shaved mine off. My beard is nearly 75% gray now. F that. There's not much I can do about the gray hair on my head, short of shaving it or coloring it (neither one is a good option for me). My facial hair.........well, I'll be gdamned if I'm going to look like a 40-something Santa Claus.

Take it from someone who's had gray facial hair for well over two decades:

The gray hair ain't your problem.

Yes, I have a shaved head so I need to have something that defines my face. Usually it's just the bottom and looks like the University of Miami symbol on their helmets, but tight now its the full thing.

I could never grow a decent beard, so I went to a hair transplant specialist and had some of my pubic hair transplanted to my chin.

Now, I not only have a luxurious goatee rivaling Mr. Bob Dole's magnificent facial hair display, but when I blow my nose, I have an orgasm. One interesting side effect is that I find myself looking forward to getting a cold.

Yeah, mine looks like shit too. All though it looks like puke shit when I don't have one at all. So the shit stays.

I have a beard, so does that count as a goatee? Because there's a goatee in there, but it's merely connected to some really, really long sideburns.

I had a goatee years ago, but grew out of it.

Now I just grow hair on my neck.
