I bought personalized plates, but I made them a random series of letters and numbers, just to annoy the person at the DMV.

Personalized plates make it too easy for people to remember when you're running away from the scene of a crime.

I think that's why you get personalized plates that read "No Tags".

"Under plate number he put DLR. I figure they shot him before he could finish filling out the tag number. So I got the state looking for a Ciera with a tag startin' DLR. They don't got no match yet.

I'm not sure that I agree with you on your police work there, Lou. I think that vehicle there
probably had dealer plates. DLR.

Oh. Jeez.

Say Lou, didya hear the one about the guy who couldn't afford personalized plate so he went and changed his name to J3L2404?

Yah, that's a good one."

In both states, the CHIEFS vanity plates were already taken. For Texas specifically, I would have had a hard time telling Lamar Hunt to give up his plates. ;)

FWIW, you'd be surprised at how many ppl do not catch the reversal of letters. :)

I think just for fun...I'm going to call the local cop shops for each of you who posted photos, and turn you in for random crimes..complete with plate numbers and excellent vehicle descriptions.

Kotter....I'm pretty sure you just shoplifted at the pRon store.

Yeah, its probably not a good idea to post photos of your license plates on here. My wife has personalized tags, but I'm not putting them here for you psychos to take note of.

You're probably right about the number of people that actually catch it, but it just looks wrong to me... think I would have tried something like CHEEEFS first
