Troy Polamalu despite his improvent in coverage still isn't a good enough cover guy to be #1 on anyones list.......And once again there's that serious over hype of D'angelo Hall.

And because of Woodson's history with the Steelers. I don't think there is any question that Reed is the best Safety in the NFL. As for corners, I'd take Ken Lucas before Hall and probably Terrence Newman.

What about Dawkins? He had 3.5 sacks, 3 ints, 4 forced fumbles, and 24 pass defenses... and he had 80 tackles.

I could pull up stats from years before, but without looking I can assume they'll be impressive as well.

Do you remember how much criticism Newman took before the start of last season. There was even talk of the Cowboys shopping him. I wish we could've pulled that trigger.
