Trent is without a doubt the most underrated QB in Football. I would take him over all but the top 3 (and only then because of age)

LJ will be higher next year when he proves to everyone outside of KC that it wasn't just a half season fluke.

Trent being underrated has been a popular call for a few years now but I think he is rated about where he should be except for Daunte being way too high. Remember Trent is the same age as Brett Favre. No longer at the pinnacle of his career. Also, he was rather inconsistent to say the least last year when our oline wasn't in tact. You put those other pro bowl Qb's behind our oline the last few years (I argue possibly the best ever and they would have thrived as well.

Tough to compare Trent to guys his age since he didn't play for quite awhile early in his career.

U know, I'm sick of hearing about how well those other QBs would do behind the Chiefs oline. In case everyone forgot, Trent had to play several games last season without Willie Roaf and with the RT position in flux until Welbourne came back and got into his groove a few games later. And don't tell me that Brady hasn't had a great oline. Manning's line was outstanding last year (except against Pittsburgh in the playoffs). Bengals and Seattle olines were very good, as well. Fact of the matter is that no QB does well when you have 3rd rate olineman manning your tackle positions.

LJ should be #2 at least, at 97 or so, but I'll be content with 95. I think his is one of the biggest rating jumps ever. He was in the high 70s, low 80s last year.

Trent Green always is underrated, in life and especially in Madden.

And I Ty is, as others have pointed out, likely in the FA list. I would guess he's mid-90s.

Overall (OVR) ratings are vastly overrated, and not just in Madden.

It's much more important for a player to have high scores in the specific attributes they NEED for the system they play in.

For instance, LT should be the hightest-rated back in the game OVERALL, becuase the overall score is derived from taking into account speed, strength, agility, hands, fumbling, etc. LT is definitely the best all-around back.

The reason LJ isn't high overall is probably because of his agility or blocking rating or something.

LJ was 86 overall last year. Interestly, his morale was 66. ROFL

Ty Law was 96 overall and Patrick Surtain was 94 overall.
Trent Green was 91.
