It's the only way he gets healthy.

I know his back will hurt him again soon.

He needs to fix it permanently by fixing the bulging disc problem.

He needs to permanently retire so the Royals can spend the much needed $11 million dollars elsewhere. Sweeney's a great guy and was a good player. Now he needs to get out of the way and let this team properly rebuild.
