Reported at the top of Sportscenter. It's a 6 year deal, $58 million. $25.7 of it is guaranteed.

Who is going to start for them? Do they still have that back-up that torched us a few years ago?

Yes, Billy Volek. He did pretty well as a whole when he got to play.

I don't know the particulars of the deal, but that $58 million number is more than #1 pick Mario Williams got.

Volek will start until the Titans are out of contention, or maybe a bit earlier if the rest of the team looks okay but QB production is lacking.

Way too much money for him.

He's going to make more money than Mario Williams. Not good news for the Saints in regards to Reggie Bush.

It all depends on how much of Young's $ is gauranteed.

The Tennessean says that 25.7 million dollars of the contract is guaranteed:

Just noticed that tk13 already updated the first post with this article. Sorry :banghead:

Yeah I know. That fell in line. Young got $25.7 guaranteed. Williams got $26.5 guaranteed. That is a lot of money for a rookie.

There is the number that matters. IIRC that is a mil or so less than Williams, yes?

They'd find me dead in a ditch a week after I got that signing bonus check. I'd be naked, smelling like pussy and whiskey, and bleeding out of both ears with a smile on my face a mile wide.

Reggie Bush is gonna bust a nut if he doesn't get some $$$$$$.

And I'd be laughing the whole time.

Reggie is in a tough spot since the Saints do have a damn good starting RB in Deuce McCalister . My prediction is thar Reggie will be signed during when the regular season starts.

I find it hilarious when rookies that haven't played a snap in the NFL and expect 60 million dollar contract.

:p Teh...Reggie.

New Orleans doesn't deserve him being an ass for money.

I have nothing against him as a player.

He's one hell of talent.

I just get a little pissed off when he's asking for 60 million dollars.
