Gracie had a HUGE impact in its popularity. MMA is by far a superior form of fighting than boxing.

Them big guys (heavyweights) have been hugging each other to keep from falling for a LONG time now.

Back in the day Heavyweight guys were in GREAT shape and could fight all 12 to 16 (in the OLD days) rounds.

Now if it goes past 4 or 5 rounds, chances are you are either going to a decision or one of them is going to be DQ'd for passing out due to exhaustion.

The last fighter in the heavyweight division that I can remember being a HUGE dominating force and always came into the ring looking like he was wearing body armour made of muscle was a young Mike Tyson.

That is not hockey... that is a joke. The refs lost control of that game and the players were acting like goons.

I hope they were all ejected and DQ'd from the World Juniors.
