Chiefs | Team to try out Burton

Charles Chandler, of the Charlotte Observer, reports former NFL DL Shane Burton (Panthers) will have a workout with the Kansas City Chiefs sometime this week. His career with the Panthers was cut short by knee problems, which he said are healed.

Does anyone know anything about this guy?

Looks like he was pretty durable up until 2004.

tall guys can bat balls down.

From looking at his stats his sack numbers aren't too impressive, 2-3 per season, but he has a lot of sucsess batting down balls.

IIRC we had an interest with him before he signed with carolina.

i still dont think its as bad as everyone thinks.
