The basics: sockets (incluiding a few metrics), combo wrenches, nut drivers, adjustable wrenches, allen wrenches, assorted screw drivers, pliers, channel locks, vice grips, hack saw, dry wall saw, painting and wall papering tools, hammer, c-clamps, squares, levels, plumb lines, oil filter wrenches, hand drill with many bits and screwdriver heads, circular saw, power sander, jig saw, doweling jig, wood plane.

Enough to do most electrical, plumbing and carpentry projects around the house and a fair amount on the cars (oil changes, brakes, water pumps).
